Sam Cowan is a versatile music instructor, producer, and session musician who has been teaching since 2017 and working with Danman’s Music School since 2019. With a laid-back, student-centered approach, Sam focuses on helping kids develop their own musical voice through ear training, intuition, and a love for learning. He teaches across genres including rock, jazz, country, and rap, and is always open to exploring new styles that students are passionate about. Sam’s goal is simple: play great music, have fun, and help others grow while doing it

Teaching music for 6 years, with a focus on student creativity, individuality, and building musical confidence.

Instructor at Danman’s Music School and active producer/session musician since 2019, collaborating on both studio and live projects.

Sam specializes in helping students forge their own path on their instrument. He emphasizes ear training, intuitive playing, and making music a fun and personal journey. His teaching encourages independence and musical curiosity, especially for young or non-traditional learners.

To play more music, connect with students, and keep the learning process fun and engaging every step of the way.
Long Term Goal:
To continue building a career in music by performing, producing, and teaching, while growing as both an artist and mentor — and yes, to make more money playing music doing what he loves.
