Emily has over 9 years of experience teaching music in both private lesson and classroom settings. She specializes in piano, guitar, voice, songwriting, music theory, and composition.

Performing Experience:

Emily has performed at iconic locations like Carnegie Hall and Pearl Harbor. As a singer-songwriter, she’s played intimate venues and festivals, and throughout college she pursued genre-blending performance opportunities with a wide range of ensembles—from jazz bands and wind ensembles to pit orchestras and drumlines.

Recording Experience:

Emily is currently self-recording a studio album for her solo project, Sink Pool, where she combines her love of composition, performance, and storytelling.

Fun Facts:

As a child, Emily made her dad play the same two Beatles songs in the car every day. While she plays many instruments, composing at the piano is where she feels most grounded.
