Kerri Watt is a Scottish singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and music producer with 15 years of teaching and professional performance experience. She began teaching voice to musical theatre students in London and has since mentored emerging artists, led songwriting camps, and worked with young performers through her children’s audio series Ziggy & The Beaks. As a performer, Kerri has toured Europe, played major festivals, and opened for Coldplay, Celine Dion, and Keith Urban, with her music also featured in television, advertising, and Call of Duty. Now based in Dana Point, Kerri loves helping students build confidence, develop their voice, and discover their own style through singing, songwriting, and performance.

Teaching Experience:
My teaching journey started in London 15 years ago, teaching voice to musical theatre students. Since then, I’ve worked as a mentor and vocal producer for the boyband Dear Alice, mentored Scottish Songwriters Award finalists, hosted songwriting camps, and now write, direct, and produce the children’s audio series Ziggy & The Beaks, where I work with kids to bring music and percussion to life.
Performing Experience:
I started on London’s West End touring circuit as an actor and performer before moving into writing and performing my own music. Since then, I’ve toured Europe, played festival stages, and opened for Coldplay, Celine Dion, and Keith Urban.
Music Style:
As an artist, I make hooky rock-pop with soaring vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and plenty of guitar. As a songwriter, I also create Disney-inspired theatrical pop.
Short-Term Goals:
To become involved in the Dana Point music community and work with young aspiring musicians and songwriters as they discover their own sound and potential.
Long-Term Goals:
To tour my own music across the U.S., with performing at Red Rocks as the ultimate dream.

Fun Facts:
I’m originally from Scotland and now live in Dana Point with my two music-obsessed kids. I wrote and sang the jingle for a global Samsung holiday campaign, and my songs have appeared on Love Island, Comedy Central, Sky Sports, and the video game Call of Duty. I also have three UK Official Charts Awards, and my original musical WEIRD launched in the UK earlier this year.
