The Benefits of Art for Kids
1. Builds Confidence
When kids create something from start to finish, they feel proud. Completing a project builds self-esteem and encourages them to trust their creativity.
2. Improves Focus & Patience
Art requires attention to detail and follow-through. Kids learn to slow down, concentrate, and complete what they start — a skill that carries into school and life.
3. Encourages Creative Thinking
Art helps children think independently, experiment with ideas, and solve problems in new ways. It strengthens imagination and flexible thinking.

Jane Bradbury brings creativity, confidence, and a love for alternative and rock music into every lesson at Danman’s Music School. With experience volunteering at Mariners Elementary and hosting community art shows, Jane creates a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and trying new things. Inspired by 80s alternative, 90s grunge, and classic rock, she blends artistic exploration with strong fundamentals, helping students grow both creatively and personally.
