Tips for Success

My name is Dan Lefler. I run Danman's Music School. Over many years I have noticed a few things that really seem to help assure success once you've signed up for music lessons...

First thing you do is complete the "Parent-First-Assignment".

Second thing you do is print and read my Special Report - "Giving Your Child The Mozart Effect"

Third thing you do is review the info below and if at any time you have questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me or my staff. 949 242-4431 email

1. Provide a steady consistant lessons schedule of at least one or two lessons per week.

2. Provide a quality instrument for your child to practice on.

3. Provide a quiet, private place for your child to practice.

4. Provide a consistent practice schedule of at least 20 minutes each day.

5. Provide constant praise and interest in your childs progress.

6. Make sure you and your child attends Danman's Student Concert each month, as a participant or an observer.

7. Provide an incentive rewards program for your child as they log in their practice time and their performance dates.

8. Make sure you ask your child to play for you frequently or better yet, why don't you learn an instrument too and play along with your child!

If you apply the above things to the everyday world of your child, I gaurantee you will give them the foundations of that incredible phenomena called "The Mozart Effect".
